As we approach the upcoming holiday break, it is essential to consider the maintenance of skills that students have been working on this year. As you know, the holiday breaks can be a challenging time for our students. It can be difficult for them to retain information learned regarding important skills without having the opportunity for practice, reinforcement, and generalization.

In an effort to prevent the 'holiday slide', I would like to encourage you to attend an hour-long coaching session. During this session, you will learn how to create maintenance packets that you can send home either in print or via email.

We will learn how to create maintenance packets for each of the following programs:


  • enCORE

  • Basics

  • Social Skills

  • Transition to Adulthood

  • Meta-Play

  • Be Safe

Georgia Vocational Rehabilitation Agency in partnership with Georgia’s Parent Mentor Partnership and Parent to Parent of Georgia will be hosting their first installment of their Parent Forum. There is a cap of 1000 seats, and the meeting will be recorded. Date: 10/19/2021 Time: 6:00 pm- 7:00 pm
