The Georgia Learning Resources System (GLRS) is a network that provides training and resources to school district personnel, parents of students with disabilities, and other interested individuals to support the achievement, graduation rate, and post-secondary success of students with disabilities. There are 18 regional programs in the state that provide universal professional learning and technical assistance for local districts around state-identified priorities and targeted technical assistance to support districts with disproportionality. The GLRS network,


through targeted support, also works to improve the graduation rate and achievement of students with disabilities. Check out the State-wide GLRS activities from January 2021 - 2021 at the link below.


 

Telic Empowerment Support Group is one of our P2P-funded parent support groups. They have their monthly virtual support group, THIS SAT, 5/15/21, at 11 am, on zoom. They are going to be live streaming from the Atlanta Chaos blind beep baseball game, interviewing players, and watching how the game is played! Parents that attend can learn all about blind baseball, and they will also be discussing summer activities and camps for all abilities this summer. All participants will receive a summer resource packet as well. Registration is required. You can register directly on their website at https://telicempowerment.org/support-group/.
