Seventeen teachers from 10 Heart of Georgia Region school districts participated in the Teachers of Students with Significant Cognitive Disabilities Consortium. In addition to supporting teachers through the Heart of Georgia Regional Teachers of Students with Significant Cognitive Disabilities Consortium, Jessie Moreau provides modeling, coaching, and support to select teachers in the Heart of Georgia Region through the continuous improvement project, Intensive Support for Teachers with Significant Cognitive Disabilities. These teachers are selected by their school districts based on their strengths in educating students with disabilities and their abilities to help support other teachers. Participating teachers in the project shared their resources and ideas at the November meeting of the Heart of Georgia Regional Teachers of Students with Significant Cognitive Disabilities Consortium!
