The Heart of Georgia Transition Alliance regrettably had to cancel the FY 20 I CAN Conference due to the COVID pandemic. This year the Alliance is proud to offer students in the Heart of Georgia Region the opportunity to participate in a virtual conference featuring motivational speaker Jeremy Anderson. Jeremy Anderson is a leading expert, author, and premier motivational speaker in the educational arena. Years ago, Jeremy experienced many challenges such as drug and alcohol abuse, repeated failure in school, a diagnosis of ADHD, and his biological father's absence. Fortunately, Jeremy’s story didn't end there. During his third attempt at 9th grade, Jeremy came across a group of teachers who refused to give up on him. He eventually caught up with his right grade, received a high school diploma, and obtained a bachelor's and master's degree.
This virtual conference uses the Zoom platform. Teachers must register their class/students to attend. Names of students will not be collected. Teachers will need the number of students attending and the grade levels of the students. Zoom links will be sent to the teacher after the registration is complete.
