About the event

Kim Statzer with Brain Balance Centers will be presenting how the brain processes information and how gaps in processing can produce symptoms such as focus and attention concerns, behavioral issues, academic struggles, social and emotional problems, and anxiety. Information will also be shared on the functions of the different hemispheres of the brain and how to help the brain work more optimally together. Practical tips will be given on how to help a child who has become overstimulated and help them become more regulated throughout the school day. Touchpoints will be given on how nutrition and the home environment can also impact the brain.
