Visual Supports in the Classroom for Students with Autism Spectrum Disorder

Participants will be guided through identifying the importance of visual supports for students with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). The use of visual supports is an evidence-based practice that will increase students’ understanding of routines, procedures, rules, and other important concepts. This training is designed for any school personnel that supports students with ASD in various classroom settings. Participants will learn how to utilize visual supports and view numerous examples.
