About the event

Individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) have unique strengths and challenges. Understanding the underlying characteristics of ASD and effective practices that support students’ needs is essential. Designed for those who support, instruct, or work with students with ASD, participants will gain a basic understanding of ASD and how core deficits may trigger challenging behavior. Participants will also explore various profiles of students with ASD and how to meet their learning needs.
