East Central GLRS will host a virtual training for parents of students with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Dr. Sally Delgado, an educational consultant with Emory Autism Center, will provide practical strategies for parents, caregivers, and guardians in structuring the home environment to support their child with autism. As we approach the upcoming holiday break, it is essential to consider the maintenance of skills that students have been working on this year. As you know, the holiday breaks can be a challenging time for our students. It can be difficult for them to retain information learned regarding important skills without having the opportunity for practice, reinforcement, and generalization.

In an effort to prevent the 'holiday slide', I would like to encourage you to attend an hour-long coaching session. During this session, you will learn how to create maintenance packets that you can send home either in print or via email.

We will learn how to create maintenance packets for each of the following programs:


  • enCORE

  • Basics

  • Social Skills

  • Transition to Adulthood

  • Meta-Play

  • Be Safe
