This professional learning provides an overview of the following High Leverage Practices in Special Education while providing participants with resources and tools for implementation. Training sessions include HLP tool review and practice time.

HLP 13: Adapt Curriculum Tasks and Materials for Specific Learning Goals
-Identify accommodations and modifications that are necessary, given a student’s unique needs, and how those needs intersect with various aspects of the curriculum or task
- Use content enhancements in combination with accommodations to support student needs
- Evaluate to determine whether adaptations have the intended impact
