About the event

Emory Autism Center Rapid Fire Training - Autism Spectrum Disorder and the School Psychologist

School psychologists and other school-based professionals are now more likely to be asked to participate in the screening, identification, and educational planning for students with ASD.  Presented by Dr. Sally Delgado with Emory Autism Center, School Psychologists'  attending will discuss their role in evaluating and reporting students suspected of Autism Spectrum Disorder.  This training will focus on the learning characteristics, symptoms, evidence-based practices, and best practices in creating a psychological report that is descriptive of the student's educational needs that help eligibility teams make accurate determinations.
